Who Am I ?

I was born in a small Newfoundland community some years ago. In 1969, I moved my family and trucking company to the St. John’s/Mount Pearl area. After working in the transportation industry for many years, I chose real estate as a second career in 1983. I joined Re/Max in 1991.

In addition to assisting hundreds of sellers, buyers and new home builders, I have had the pleasure of serving as a volunteer with different organizations. Currently, I am a board member and volunteer with the Newfoundland and Labrador special Olympics. In the past I have been involved with other organizations: Vestry member, Church of St. Mary the Virgin; Founding Chairperson, Visions Employment Inc. (a organization seeking employment for the mentally challenged); board Member Mount Pearl Frosty Festival; Boy Scouts of Canada; Re/Max United Inc. charity fund-raising committee; and others.

Buying and/or selling a home can be a stressful experience. It doesn’t need to be so. I strive to provide my clients with as much information as possible to avoid surprises that may arise throughout the process –leading to many repeat and referred clients. Thus comes my slogan “Smooth Sale-ing with Everett Russell”.
